Webdesign for a

sushi bar

An assignment from school

BRIEF

A restaurant noticed that their customers use their website frequently. The customers use the website to find contact information, book a table and also see what is being served. The restaurant is considering investing more in catering and takeaways. Because of this they want to design an online menu to add to their website. The menu should function on various screen platforms (from desktops to mobile phones). The look of the menu should be well designed and appealing. Select one of the menus from the attachment (pizza or sushi). The menu should be presented as a web page, coded using HTML and CSS. You can use your own images and graphics and rearrange the text if you prefer. You must submit a folder to the FTP containing two files: an html and css. Any graphics and/or photos should also be added. If you would like to, you can add multiple pages to your website, but this is not a requirement.

MY WORK

Before this assignment I didnt know how to make a website, and havent even opened Adobe Dreamweaver before. You can say that I sat with the biggest questionmark in the world. But I can tell you for sure, that working with HTML and CSS has become one of my favorite thing to do in my path of becoming a grapich designer. In this assignment I learned so much.

I made a website for a sushi restaurant called Mao sushi, which I made up myself. The website has two pages, one homepage and one menu page. The "book table" and "contact" buttons does not work, as it was not a part of the assignment.

The website is responsive and works on mobile aswell.
